The World of Money (English for Business 1)
The World of Money is designed to be useful for any student who is interested in learning more about the world of business, finance and economics in English.
The aim of The World of Money is for students to learn fundamental vocabulary about how people use money to do business with each other. The course builds on the knowledge that everybody has about very basic concepts such as: buying and selling (starting with shopping); finance (using a bank); and insurance. At the end of this course, students will be well-placed to study Business Administration, and Economics at the Faculty level.
Assessment
100% Final Examination
In the examination, students will demonstrate understanding of basic concepts and knowledge of key vocabulary in English which they will have learned by careful week-by-week, and day-by-day, study. To have a realistic chance of passing this course, students will need to preview and review each successive lesson in good time.
