English for Psychology
English for Psychology is designed to be useful for any student who is interested in learning more about how we use English to talk and write about human behavior.
The aim of English for Psychology is for students to learn fundamental vocabulary in order to understand text about how people are, and how they think, feel and act. Such texts are very common, not only as specialist resources for academics but also as non-specialist news and human-interest reports for the general reader. We are all interested in people, and what they do!
At the end of this course, all students will be better-placed to read and understand popular (non-specialist) texts about psychology in English. Psychology students will be ready for study in English in their department; other students will be better readers and listeners.
