ENGLISH FOR Organizations (English for Business 2)
English for Organizations is designed to be useful for any student who is interested in learning more about the world of business, finance and economics in English.
The aim of Organizations is for students to learn fundamental vocabulary about how people organize themselves so that work can be done, both for profit and not. The course builds on the knowledge that everybody has about very basic concepts such as: different types of organization – from the local shop to United Nations; how work is divided; how people work together. At the end of this course, students will be well-placed to study, in English, Business Administration, and Economics, at the Faculty level.
Assessment
100% Final Examination
In the examination, students will demonstrate understanding of basic concepts and knowledge of key vocabulary in English which they will have learned by careful week-by-week, and day-by-day, study. To have a realistic chance of passing this course, students will need to preview and review each successive lesson in good time.
